The Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEFSGP), implemented by UNDP, provides grants to communities and civil society organizations to enable them to implement projects in the focal areas of climate change, biodiversity, land degradation, international waters and chemicals. The Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEFSGP), implemented by UNDP, provides grants to communities and civil society organizations to enable them to implement projects in the focal areas of climate change, biodiversity, land degradation, international waters and chemicals. 
SGP Zimbabwe programme is inviting applicants to submit proposals for projects that address Climate Smart Innovative Agro-ecology and fall under Binga, Chimanimani or Shurugwi Districts. 

Prospective applicants should meet the following criteria:  

o Proof of authorization to work with the defined community in the form of a support letter from the RDC

• Proof of registration 

• Democratically elected governing body supported by a Constitution

• Sound and transparent financial management system in place.

• Critical mass of skilled staff to implement project.

• Ability and willingness to work in partnership with other organizations.• Own capacity to co-finance (minimum 50% of request)

• Limit of funding is USD50,000
